Whitelisting - How to Make Sure You Get Our Mail

Increasingly, ISPs are using filtering systems to try and keep Spam out of customer's in-boxes. Sometimes, they accidentally filter the e-mail that you want to receive.

To make sure that ’Discovering Kenya’ e-zine or any other communication from us is not filtered into your "junk" or "bulk" folder, please add kenyatravelideas.com to your list of trusted senders. Here's how:

Hotmail: Place the domain kenyatravelideas.com on your Safe List, so that you can receive our e-zine and other mail. The safe list can be accessed via the "Options" link next to the main menu tabs. Click on “Junk E-Mail Protection” to find the “Safe List”.

AOL: Place the domain kenyatravelideas.com in your Address Book.

Yahoo! Mail: If the ’Discovering Kenya’ e-zine is filtered to your 'bulk' folder, open the message and click on the "this is not Spam" link next to the "From" field.

Some spam filters: Place the domain kenyatravelideas.com on the filter's whitelist. You may need to search a filter's help for how to do this -- and depending on software/version, they may call a "whitelist," a "good list" or similar name.

Other ISPs: Each mail service is a little different, but the idea is the same. If ’Discovering Kenya’ is being filtered, add the kenyatravelideas.com domain (or ’Discovering Kenya’ 'From' or 'Reply-to' address) to your address book or contact list. If that option is not available, try moving the message to your 'inbox' or forwarding the message to yourself.

If subsequent messages continue to be filtered, call or e-mail your ISP's tech support and specifically ask how you can be sure to receive all e-mail from kenyatravelideas.com. Follow their instructions for whitelisting.

NOTE: If your ISP does not allow you to whitelist a domain, they are violating your basic right to receive e-mail from whomever you want. There are many other, customer-focused, ISPs who would love to have your business.

My apologies for the inconvenience, but these circumstances are beyond our control. All you and we can do is work together with the good ISPs and responsible mail services to shut out the spammers, and let the "good guys" through.

So please do make sure that your mail server or ISP is not accidentally keeping kenyatravelideas.com information from you.

Thank you very much
