Purdy Arms is like a little Oasis, where one can hide away from the madness of the city, relax after a safari or prepare, clear your head after a long business meeting or just come for a bit and enjoy the atmosphere.

“We are not a big chain hotel with standardized rooms that caters to the masses, and we don’t aim to be.

Our five unique rooms each have a different character and appeal; the only common theme between them is the homespun atmosphere they radiate. They are all en-suite, with a living area, satellite TV and tea and coffee facilities.

A mouthwatering full English breakfast, which is included in the price, will give you enough fuel to take on the day.

So if it’s a romantic weekend, a city stopover, a family get-away or a business trip, we’ve got a space you can call your own.

The fine dining menu features local flavors and exotic dishes from overseas mixed with a little nostalgic English pub grub for good measure. We cater for kids and vegetarians too.

Our food can be enjoyed in the spacious dining area, under the sunshades on the terrace, or even on our picnic tables in the garden. Our great kitchen team and friendly waiters are on hand to ensure your glasses are full and your plates are empty.

We are a relaxed oasis of unconventional hospitality, where warm service and a friendly, quirky atmosphere will make you feel as though you’re staying with family.

Things to do at Purdy Arms B&B

Conference Venues: Our intimate venue can accommodated from 12 to 15 delegates and includes a projector, a whiteboard, Wifi, lunch and dinner.

Family friendly: Kids love it here and are always welcome. There’s a jungle gym to swing, slide and scamper across, lots of acres to tear around, and various critters to cuddle. There’s a small soccer pitch for those budding Beckham's too.

There is a small Nature Trail around the property to stretch your legs, a climbing wall/tower to test your strength and an Archery Field where you can get the chance to try your hands at the ancient art or practice what you might already know.

Restaurant

Situated on 22 acres, this B&B and Restaurant overlooks lush gardens full of indigenous trees, where our resident vervet monkeys, duikers, a pair of owls and a couple more members of this unique community reside.
