After having waited patiently for the new year to start, it’s here now and already half way through January. It’s been an exciting time so far.
I’m in the process of packing up and going back to Kenya, so, wanted to give you a bit of news from the last couple of months before heading out.
Unfortunately for the animals, especially the elephants and rhinos, last year and for that matter, this new year already, has been and is a disaster. Too much killings, poaching etc...lets hope that the rest of 2012 will turn out to be better!
There has been lots of rain in the last few weeks; things are green and the water situation has improved a little, which is great news.
The latest additions will show you some of the trees in Kenya, interesting zebra photos and a trip to my most favorite animals: the elephants in Voi.
Also added the option to build your OWN safari, which might resonate with some of you, who would like to have more flexibility and integrate more of the things you’d really like to see.
Note: The fastest way to browse the latest updates and news is the Kenya Blog
Here are the highlights for this latest newsletter:
- Trees in Kenya hold a very special place in my heart.
- Zebra Pictures, there is always a ‘funny’ ankle to photograph these guys. Never get tiered of finding it.
- The Elephants in Voi, a place I wanted to visit for a long time and boy, the wait was worth it!
- Build your Own Safari! Take a look and start planning!
I hope you enjoyed this latest edition, wishing you the best wherever you are and as always, if you have questions or ideas you would like to ask/add/share, please feel free to do so! Looking forward in hearing from you!
Best wishes until next time,
