The Cove & Sable Tree Houses

The ideal spots for escapists, honeymooners and weddings! Expect a fantastic experience!

The Cove

The Cove Tree Houses luxuriate in exclusivity, a private setting in an exotic location, and personalized service. Each of the Tree Houses commands a 180 degree breath taking sea view, complete privacy and butler service. Décor and ambiance is exquisite and in keeping our philosophy which, in essence, is the preservation of the natural environment and community values.

Nestled in beautifully natural tropical gardens and gazing out at the sparkling blue ocean, The Cove Tree Houses can be found in the coastal area of Kinondo, an hour and 30 minutes away from Mombasa. All the 6 tree houses come with your very own chef / butler, plus air-conditioned bedrooms, a four-poster bed to safely roll outdoors for a spot of high-glamour star-gazing, fully-stocked bar, Jacuzzi, lounge and dining area, and bathroom with shower.

Tree House

The Sable Valley Tree Houses are situated on the verdant crescent of the Sable Valley amid the surrounding Shimba Hills. This crescent forms the boundary to the National Reserve and forested wildlife sanctuary. So the tree houses are exceptional on the coastal area of Kenya – forested and elevated from the coastal plain. Here, there is an almost spiritual ambiance.

Breathtaking views of the valley, the occasional Sable herd passing close by and an elephant family coming to graze for a pachyderm sundowner. A natural phenomenon, Sable are not known for their numbers in Kenya – indeed this is the only place you will see them. On each Tree house, the balcony has been placed with deliberate care. Here you can watch the moon rise in the East and the sunset in the West, and overhead, the romance of the African night sky.

Have you dreamt of sleeping beneath these stars? The Ndovu four-poster bed can be safely wheeled forward beneath the panorama and star gazing accomplished in comfort. The veil of dawn will lift with the song of bird life in morning and you may awake gently. Perhaps there may also be the odd elephant making his or her presence known below you as you reach for the bell to summon your morning coffee, tea and fresh juice to be enjoyed with the magnificent vista that falls before you. Breakfast is served on the verandah.
