Kenya Hotels Guide
This Kenya Hotels Directory is organized by the most distinctive parts of the country to give you an easy overview:Coastal – Most likely the place you will relax after your safari Nairobi – Mainly because this will be where you most likely end up flying in and out of and it is nice to have a few extra days in the city and go explore; if not to do a bit of shopping before going home National Parks & Reserves – As this will be where to will have all of your safaris and adventures It shows three different budget categories; economy, mid-range and high-end hotels and lodges. The budget category will include campsites, YMCA, backpacker places and cheap, but clean hotels. One thing I want to mention here is CouchSurfing, which is a worldwide network for making connections between travelers and the local communities they visit. People all over the world offer their couches for travelers and there is a fair amount of CS’ers in Kenya, who have opened their houses in this way. Definitely worth checking out, if this would be an option of traveling for you, and to immerse yourself into the Kenyan culture and way of living. The mid-range is pretty much self-explanatory; some eco-lodge accommodations are getting more affordable and you will find them here. There will also be several stable and reliable Kenya hotels to stay at when you first arrive in Nairobi. And perhaps you would like to spend an extra day after your safari, to rewind before you return home!
The high-end will include some very nice, relaxing Spas, 5-star hotels and some spectacular lodges in even more awe-inspiring surroundings. You will find most of them either along the coast or in the interior of Kenya in conjunction with National Parks and Reserves. You can expect the prices to be in the range of:
$ ($ 25 - $ 85) for budget $$ ($ 95 - $ 350) for mid-range $$$ ($ 400 - $ 850) for high-end
Please contact us about the hotels/accommodations you are interested in through the form that is provided to you on each separate page. The booking for most of the hotels listed will go through local tour operators, to get you the most compatible & cheapest rates compared to booking directly with the lodge/hotel.
